What does the New Launches Radar track?
Upcoming residential projects in Gurugram (Gurgaon), Noida and the rest of Delhi NCR — from the land deal, through the announcement and the RERA application, to the launch — before there is enough construction for us to audit them. Projects we already audit are not repeated here. Every fact links to the record it comes from.
What do the stages mean?
Land deal: a developer has bought the site, won it at auction or signed a joint development agreement for it. Announced: the developer has described the project publicly. RERA applied: an application is with the regulator, so the project cannot be sold yet. RERA registered or launched: the project has a registration number and can be sold.
Is it safe to pay for a pre-launch or EOI booking?
Under Section 3 of the RERA Act, a project cannot be advertised, marketed, booked or sold until it is registered with the state regulator. Before paying anything, check the registration number on the regulator's portal, and pay only into the project's designated RERA account.
How can I check a project's RERA status myself?
Search the project or promoter on the state regulator's portal: haryanarera.gov.in for Gurugram and Faridabad, up-rera.in for Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, and rera.delhi.gov.in for Delhi.
Why is there no Truth Score for these projects?
A Truth Score needs a construction record — quarterly progress filings measured against the RERA schedule — plus the developer's delivery history. A project that has not started building has no construction record yet. We publish the record that exists and score the project once it does.
